Is fear or worry getting in the way? Does perfectionism lead to procrastination, avoiding, and comparing? Do you ever feel like you’re not good enough? Do you shrink yourself for the sake of others’ comfort? My practice is a space created to support young people, parents, and children who resonate with some or all of these questions and wish to experience more ease in their lives.

I work to help folks identify their hopes, dreams and preferences, embrace imperfection, take up more space, and experience life in the way that they desire. It is extremely important to me to provide a safe space to explore and/or express one’s identity, this includes providing gender affirming care.

I work with parents to find their preferred parenting style and co-develop tools that help build on their bond, and support their empowerment as a parent.

A little about me: I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with parents, children and young people. I tend to work with children 5 years of age and up, teens, and parents.

I spent the majority of my early career as the director of counseling at a pediatric multidisciplinary clinic, where I specialized in working with parents as well as children and teens. I have had the opportunity to learn from not only mentors in the field of psychotherapy, but also mentors in other fields such as pediatric neurology, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and behavioral therapy.

Learning and practicing with these specialities has shaped my practice by equipping me with a greater understanding of the brain, regulation, and nervous system. I believe these elements are essential to understanding and best supporting my clients. To learn more about my approach  to therapy click here
